Account and data deletion

The correct path depends on whether you are using the current synthetic demo or a future invitation-only connected school account.

Current release boundaryThe public and internal-test builds use synthetic data. Real school accounts and records remain disabled until school, privacy, security, vendor, and launch approvals are complete.

Reset the synthetic demo

No production account is created

In the demo, open Family → Account and choose Reset demo data. You may also clear the site or app storage, or uninstall the mobile application. This removes locally stored synthetic changes from that device.

Request deletion of a connected account

Real connected accounts are not enabled in the current release. Before a connected release can launch, the application must provide an in-app deletion request under Family → Account → Privacy & data, backed by an authenticated, auditable school workflow.

If you received an authorized staging invitation, you can start a deletion or access-removal request now by emailing support from the address connected to the account. Do not include child names, medical details, documents, or passwords in the email.

What happens next

The school verifies the requester using the account’s approved contact path. No password or sensitive student record should be sent by email.
Account access and active sessions are suspended or revoked once the verified request reaches the approved workflow.
Optional profile data and user-provided content are deleted or de-identified unless an approved school or legal retention rule applies.
The requester receives a completion notice or a clear explanation of any record category that must be retained and why.

Production gate remains closedPublic production submission is blocked until the school approves the deletion schedule, verifies the in-app workflow end to end, and names the staff responsible for completing requests.

Records that may need to remain

Deleting application access does not automatically erase an official school record that the school is legally or operationally required to keep. Examples may include required attendance, safety, financial, incident, consent, or audit records. The final connected policy must identify those categories, owners, and retention periods before real data is enabled.
